Jonna Lehto: Häntiä ja häntäluita

DEMOLITION FESTIVAL 27.11.2026 18:00

ENG

Tails and Tailbones is a playful and serious performance project by dance and theater artist Jonna Lehto, which journeys into the fierce discord and the distant peace between the Finns and other large carnivores. Combining documentary, physical expression, and artistic dialogue, the performance digs into the relationship between humans and wolves and all the emotional terrain where the wolf wanders in. Tails and Tailbones brings out the invisible goodness and significance of the animal we call the beast. The performance is updated regularly and takes into account the possible regional presence or absence of wolves.

Tails and Tailbones premiered at the Humina Space in November 2025, after which it toured throughout Finland in various updated versions.
